Kelly Freeman Griggs, WMS™, CRPC™

Kelly's Story

Kelly Freeman serves as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Director of Business Development for Boyce & Associates Consulting. 

Kelly holds a BA in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University, as well as two master's degrees in Elementary Education and Administration from the University of Phoenix. She worked as a teacher for 15 years in Colorado and was on the road to becoming a principal until she discovered her pension was insolvent.  

After learning more about her own financial security (or lack thereof) as a teacher, Kelly made it her mission to understand how this could happen and more importantly, find a solution for herself and the teachers she worked alongside with.

She then took her passion for making a difference in others’ lives through education to educating individuals on financial security. The saying “You can take the teacher out of the classroom, but never the classroom out of the teacher” describes Kelly to a tee.

Kelly’s personal mantra for her clients is:

PLAN, PROTECT, and PROSPER in their financial lives.

She was born a Texan, lived most of her life in Colorado, and has come back to her roots in Texas. Kelly has one daughter who is studying aviation at Lewis University in Illinois.  She is engaged to be married to Adam Griggs, a retired firefighter and now Unit Chief of Mass Care for the State of Texas.  

Kelly is very active in her community and serves as the Ambassador Chair for the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce. Kelly is also the Founder and President of “Networking BossBabes”, a non-profit organization of 50+ women business owners in the Austin area.
