Mike's Story
Mike has worked in the financial services industry for a decade and has deep experience with employer-sponsored retirement plans. He leads the Qualified Retirement Plans effort at Boyce Wealth. He began his financial services career at Foresters Financial in their San Diego location and created the firm's Financial Wellness Program. Mike is a firm believer in the power of educating everyday Americans about personal finance topics that often go overlooked and motivating individuals to improve their financial behaviors. After Foresters was acquired by Cetera Financial Group, he joined the Advisor Training & Development team and focused on training advisors across the country on defined contribution plans mechanics and best practices.
He holds the rare Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA(r)) credential through Fi360 which permits him to audit retirement plans at the highest level, and potentially act as an expert witness in ERISA law litigation cases.
Mike is from Southwest Ohio and graduated with a B.A. from Yale University where he played on the varsity baseball team.
